About the Event

Join CCA for a Field Walk to visit the AgGrow Agronomy and Research Farm and learn more about aerial application

This event is designed to give early career agronomists the opportunity to meet their peers, build networks and ask questions in a friendly learning environment. 

Take the opportunity to learn from experienced agronomists and researchers about:

• Cereal disease management in a low rainfall system
• Cereal nutrition trials in a low rainfall system
• An overview of factors to consider in trial design
• An up-close look at fixed wing aerial application

The Field Walk will be followed by a CCA Catch-Up at (venue to be confirmed), where you're welcome to meet and network with CCA members and Corporate Partners. Everyone is welcome to join the catch-up, whether or not you've been part of the Field Walk and we'd love to see as many CCA members as possible there.

The site will be visited by bus to ensure farm biosecurity and to hear from guest speakers on the journey. The bus will return to the Visitor Information Centre by 5:30pm.

Where: The meeting point for the Field Walk is the Griffith Visitor Information Centre, corner of Banna and Jondaryan Avenue (parking is available on site)

Date and time: Thursday the 1st October- 1:30pm -7:30pm NSW time

Cost: Free
